Story of the Tree Tee
People always ask were we came up with Seven Seeds
unique t shirts, it turns out that every graphic tee has a story. This is the story of the Tree Tee. Once upon a summer afternoon, I was challenged by my dreadlocked and Yoga-enthused roommate to design a yoga mat that would make her class of artsy college kids green with envy. Since yoga is all about sticking with whats calming and natural, I wanted to stick to something along those same lines. I ventured out to a local Canyon and began thinking about those old Bristlecone Pines scattered throughout Great Basin National Park Nevada. At over 5,000 yrs old, many of them were alive while the Egyptians built their pyramids. I pulled out the sketch book and created a design that reflected the Bristlecones that some call ugly and others deem amazing. The Tree Tee yoga design soon caught on and led to lots of requests for a Tree T Shirt that people could buy. Which, long story short, led to the formation of Seven Seed and was one of our first charity t shirts.
